Tanner — Adopted (July 2026)
Tanner found his forever home in July 2026 after capturing the hearts of countless people throughout Presidio County. What began as a frightened stray became an incredible story of resilience, trust, and second chances. Over the weeks he spent with the Presidio County Sheriff's Office, Tanner learned to enjoy toys, blankets, car rides, meeting new people, and simply being a puppy. His playful personality, tiny kisses, and unmistakable underbite quickly made him a favorite among deputies, dispatchers, courthouse staff, and community members alike. Today, Tanner is beginning his new life with a loving family where he will have canine siblings, plenty of room to play, and all the love he deserves. We are deeply grateful to everyone who shared his story, cheered him on, and helped make his happy ending possible. Happy life, little buddy. We'll always be rooting for you. 💚 |
Max — Adopted (November 2025)
Max was discovered by a Presidio County deputy wandering along the highway in extremely poor condition. Emaciated and in need of medical care, he was brought to safety and received the veterinary treatment, nourishment, and time he needed to recover.
Over the following month, Max regained his health, his strength, and his joyful personality. His remarkable transformation reminded us what patience, compassion, and second chances can accomplish.
Today, Max is thriving with his forever family, where he enjoys the love and security every dog deserves. His story serves as a reminder that even the hardest beginnings can lead to happy endings.
